This is Dati; she was born in Tanzania, East Africa, however she was raised in Stockholm Sweden but after making some music contacts in Jamaica; Dati eventually decided to move to Jamaica to start recording her demos.

Dati started performing, singing and dancing at the age of six; in the beginning she performed for anybody who would watch but of course after a while she started performing at talent shows and at other events.

As Dati grew into her early teens she started taking professional dancing lessons, she has danced everything from jazz, pop, belly dancing, ballet, flamingo, salsa, samba, hip hop to dancehall. After years of training she became a dance teacher herself and at the age of seventeen she was teaching girls from the age of 16 to 23.

What makes Dati different from other people and artists is her hunger and drive, she always pushes forward and keeps challenging herself, she wants to do the "impossible". Dati does not believe in miracles, she believes in hard work, long hours, long days, long weeks, months and years. She is indeed a workaholic and loves being just that. The best play for her is work.

Dati has worked with producers such as Nicky B and the Amigos production. Currently Dati is working with artists and producers such as Lutan Fyah, Barnaba, Fundi Samweli, Linex, Iconman, Young Jazzbo, Kimichi records and Pro2Lux/Pretenders. She enjoys working with other creative artists/producers and she always takes everything to a higher level.

Dati's latest singles Can Do and Hurry Up are being radio played and shown in Tv networks such as Clouds TV, East Africa TV, Soundcity, TVone, Citizen TV, Magic FM, TBC and many more.
